Know Sure Thing
Oscillators, KST

- What it shows
A momentum line that adds rates of change over four different spans, so short and long swings are seen at once.
- How it is built
Four smoothed rates of change are weighted and summed, with a signal line on top.
Default: ROC 10, 15, 20 and 30, SMA 10 for each.
- How traders read it
- Above zero: momentum is positive.
- A cross of the signal line is the usual signal.
- A slower, steadier momentum reading.
