What it shows

A median line with a band around it that changes colour with the trend.

How it is built

The median of recent prices is drawn, and a band is placed around it using the Average True Range.

Default: Source median, median length 3, ATR length 14, ATR multiplier 2.

How traders read it
  • Colour of the line shows the current direction.
  • Price outside the band is read as a stretched move.
  • The median is less affected by single spikes than an average.
